The reality that 14% of European employees are involved recommends that many European managers struggle to do either. They acknowledge that the manager-employee partnership is the most important driver of engagement and organic growth, and they come close to the task of increasing interaction with the same rigor, technique, and commitment that they come close to various other business issues.

The great news is that most of Europeans are disengaged however not disgruntled. They are remaining on the sidelines, waiting to be motivated. They are winnable, and business can fix this space by better furnishing their managers with the learning and advancement they need to be better individuals supervisors.
